Hi Again! Apparently my link did not work last time regarding the January parenting class! Feel free to directly email me with questions at jcskoog@seattleschools.org, or go to www.juliettaskoog.com for more information. There should also be a link from the QAE home page.
ALSO-- The University of Washington is offering some great services through their school psychology program and just sent me this flyer:
The University of Washington’s Educational Psychology Department invites parents and their children to participate in the school psychology program’s supervised testing and counseling practicum courses. There are three separate services being offered every year:
1. FREE counseling sessions with graduate and doctoral students in our school psychology program beginning mid-January through early June.
2. FREE school age assessments in the winter quarter.
3. FREE preschool assessments in the spring quarter.
All testing sessions take place during course hours (9-12) in the Clinical Training Laboratory located on the fourth floor of the College of Education, 402 Miller Hall. Counseling sessions are one hour a week held in our Clinic on Monday evenings 4:30 or 5:30.
Parents or guardians of potential clients may call Joan Waiss (Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 206-616-6362) for a telephone intake or for further questions.
